Jean-Léopold Schuybroek

Jean-Léopold is co-founder of the Interel Group of companies which Hasgrove sold In July 2011.

Jean-Léopold started his career as a special advisor to UNESCO in Trinidad and Tobago. He went on to serve as the managing director in the South American, Caribbean and Pacific region of Teleprint International, a Swiss telecommunications and information company. Jean-Léopold was President of ICCO, the international association of public relations consultancies and is Past President of BGPRA, the Belgian association of public relations consultancies.

He is presently Chairman of ICCO’s Membership and Governance committee and a member of ICCO’s executive committee.  In May 2005 Jean-Léopold was elected President of Public Relations Organisation International,Inc. (PROI), the world’s largest international partnership of independent public relations consultancies.

Jean-Léopold Schuybroek is vice-chairman of EPACA, the Brussels based European Public Affairs Consulting Association and a member of its executive committee.  In November 2003 Jean-Léopold was selected by ICCO to become one of the six inaugural members of its international hall of fame. 

Jean-Léopold is Vice Chairman of Junior Achievement - Young Enterprise Europe, and is “Maître de stage” at the University of Louvain (UCL).  He was educated in Belgium graduating from the University of Louvain in Economics and on scholarship programmes at Harvard Business School. Jean-Léopold speaks French, Dutch, English and Spanish fluently.
